St. Louis Senior Dog Project

Some of our Adoptable Pets! Click any dog to see more!

Meet and adopt your new best friend 11 to 3 Saturday/Sunday, May 19/20 in the Kirkwood Petco near I-44 and Lindbergh.  Check our Petfinder page to see our adoptable dogs.

We have special funding to cover all but $50 of the adoption fee for some of our dogs...generally senior dogs and those with special needs.  Look for those dogs designated as Red Ribbon dogs.

The St. Louis Senior Dog Project is a 501(c)3 non-profit organization in the state of Missouri.  We are an all volunteer organization that rescues dogs of all ages, but especially dogs 5 years of age and older, and actively promote the adoption of older dogs.

We spay/neuter all dogs, bring them up to date with vaccinations, and ensure they are worm-free and microchipped.  We provide our dogs with all necessary veterinary care, including treatment for such things as heartworm disease, kennel cough, pneumonia, intestinal parasites, fleas and ticks, and urinary tract infections.

Please consider donating to our cause, either through a one-time donation or a special $5.00 monthly donation subscription.  Your tax-deductible contributions help us offset the large expenses incurred from caring for hundreds of dogs a year before we place them with their forever homes.
