NOVA

Meet Nova is a young female American Staffordshire terrier mix, she is around 1-2 years old and weighs 35 to 40 lbs. Nova has been with the St. Louis Senior Dog Project for nearly a year and she is anxiously awaiting for her forever home!

Her foster family has worked hard to get Nova socialized after she was rescued and she gets along well with other dogs at her foster home, however she is a little shy and nervous around new dogs at the beginning. American Staffordshire terriers belong to the group known as bully breeds. Dogs from bully breeds are loving dogs that however sometimes can be used incorrectly by their owners, because her family wants her to join a loving home environment a home visit is required to adopt Nova. It would be a plus if her new family had experience with bully breeds or willing to learn more about them!
